Full-body or split training?

Anyone involved in strength training will at one point come across these terms when searching for the best training method. What is the best method for you personally? It depends on your goals! Whole-body training, as the name suggests, trains the whole body and thus all muscle groups. With split training, on the other hand, a specific muscle group is trained in each training session.
Whole-body training is ideal for building muscles quickly and is considered the perfect method for beginners, because results can be seen relatively quickly. Advanced athletes, or athletes who can and want to invest more time in their training, are more likely to opt for split training, as they are usually no longer able to stimulate the muscles to a sufficient extent with whole-body training.
